Who Are We

Noviente Group is the company behind Vynaza Resort. Xiomara Small and Akil Ash are the shareholders of Noviente Group, the founders, investors, and driving forces of this brand. Both Xiomara and Akil have extensive experience in real estate development and investing.

Noviente Group was birthed when Xiomara, who initially was seeking to purchase a vacation home in Panamá, stumbled upon a boutique hotel for sale in the Panamá Oeste region and instantly realized becoming a hotelier was the next chapter in her career. Upon phoning her best friend, Akil, to share the news about the hotel, it was evident from the call that they were both inspired by their recent vacation in Panamá and eager to tap into Panamá’s up-and-coming hospitality scene. A partnership was formed, and the rest is history. Xiomara and Akil are on a mission to inspire a new era of eco-conscious travel in Latin America and beyond.
